Never Completed A Football Season 2

7th grade- First season of school football. I missed the playoffs of my seventh grade year because I broke my ankle in a basketball game. That wouldnt have been so bad except I fractured the growth plate in my ankle so not only did I have a cast 6 months but they told me there was a good chance that that leg would be shorter than my other one.

8th grade- Easliy the most dangerous of my injuries. After getting three concussions in four months earlier in the year, I got my fourth and worste concussion during football practice. I was knocked unconscious, taken away in an ambulance, told by the doctors that there might be some permanet brain damge, developed a stutter, forced to go to school the next day even though I couldnt speak in complete sentences, taken away from the school in an ambulance for the second time in two days, and spent the next year over coming all the learning problems that come with getting hit in the head that much.

9th grade- The most unique injuries. I missed the begining of the season because I got biten on the foot by a brown recluse spider (which are poisonus), that just happened to be carrying the staff virus. I had to keep my foot above my heart until the staff infection got to the point that the doctors could remove it. Later in the season I got hit in the knee and ruptured my burstisack. I didnt keep me from playing football but it was insanely annoying. I basically had a bag of fluid on the side of my knee that sloshed as I walked. The worst part was that every week before our games I had to go to the team doctor to get it drained, which they do by sticking a huge needle into the sack and applying pressure until the sack is comlpetely deflated. And they did this for weeks.

10th grade- Best X-rays ever. I only got hurt once that year, but thanks to the doctors it lasted the entire season. I some how got a spiraling fracture all the way down one of the bones in my hand completely separating it . After many weeks in a cast the doctors took it off to see how it was healing, and thats when they told me that it had healed wrong and they were going to have to re-break it and start all over. I had already missed a bunch of games so I said "No, Ill just play football and hope someone else breaks it." So I did and now I can't close my hand completely.

11th grade- I didn't actually get injured this year but I got some kind of crazy virus that kept me in the hospital for a couple of days and caused me to miss a couple games. In the off season i got a bone spur in my shoulder but that wasnt a big deal.

12th grade- The most painful year of my life. In the summer work outs I dislocated a rib from my sterum which is easily the most painful thing I have ever done. I couldnt do anything that made me breath heavily or I would pass out from the pain. Later that year I did the second most painful thing I have ever done. I had strained my hamstring in practice, but the trainers said I would be fine to play in the game as long as they continually stretched me. The coaches finally pulled me out of the game in the fourth quarter, at which point I could no longer walk. After an MRI the doctors told me that I must have torn it and kept playing on it becuase they didnt understand how I had done so much damage to it. Ironically that injury caused me to miss almost my entire senior year, which combined with my reputation as being injury prone, ruiened my chances of gettin any scholarships

Never Completed A Football Season

I have never been able to finish a football season without some kind of injury that kept me from playing in atleast one game. Not only have I been injured every season I have played in, but I have never hurt the same thing twice. My dad tells me all the time that I get the most creative injuries.

First year I played football was pee-wee football. I was playing soccer at the same time and during one of our games I twisted my knee badly. That wouldn't have been so bad except I had a football game right after. I didnt want to tell anyone my knee was hurt because my mom already didnt want me to play football at that age because she thought I would get hurt. She was right, I twisted my knee the other direction and was unable to do anything but walk for a couple of weeks. That was the end of my football career until middle school.

Only Three left!!!

I feel like I have been writing blogs for since I woke up. I actually probably have been writing them for the majority of the day, but I am getting so close to being done that I can almost taste it.

Writing these blogs has been like running a marathon. I started out pretty slow, but after awhile I feel like I got into some what of a groove. I rode the groove through the majority of the blogs, and now that I am getting close to the end I can feel the groove fading and my brain running out of ideas. These last couple of blog are just utterly painful. I wish I had not put this off until the last minute.

Mavericks

My two favorite NBA teams are the Celtics and the Mavericks. This is the first year in a long time that I have been proud to be a Celtics fan, but I can not say the same for the Mavs. They just can not finish a close game.

I have no faith in them anymore. I love Dirk but the man takes just as many terrible shots as amazing shots at the end of games. I just don't think it is possible to win a championship like that. They made a couple big trades but they have not fixed the problem the Mav' s have with finishing out a game.

I hate blog-spot.

This website is driving me crazy. I ran out of ideas for blogs so I went to the class list so I could read through them, get ideas, and get some of the comments out of the way. No such luck.

I can get on to the master list of blogs and I can read them , and I even made a comment on one of them. When I tried to make my second comment, the computer gods said NO! The only thing I could get the stupid website to do is tell me that the Blogger is not working. O well, atleast I got another topic for a blog.

Burritos

Burritos are the most genious food. It is all of my favorite foods all wrapped into an easy to eat shape, that you can eat with your hands. What could possibly be better than that?

There is a borrito place close to my house in Plano called Quedoba. It is the best burrito place, hands down. Freebirds has nothing on Quedoba. I don tknow that it is a chain but if your ever in Plano try it out.

Kung Fu Movies

I love watching kung Fu movies. I dont really like any one movie in particular, I just like to watch crazy Asain guys fighting. Every time i watch those kinds of movie it always makes me wish that I knew Karate.

This summer I plan to take some kind of mixed martial arts class. Not because I like Kung Fu movies that much but because I think it will be a valuable skill to have later in life. Although if I ever got the chance to be in a Kung Fu movie a would take it in a second.
